HyperPay Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice

HyperPay is a cryptocurrency wallet published by CipherBC Hyperpay Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-registered company operating the wallet since 2017. In self-custody mode the wallet generates and stores private keys on the user's own device, and hyperpay.dev serves static pages with no advertising trackers. This page sets out what data the website and the wallet handle, how long it is kept, and how to request its deletion.

Download Wallet

The wallet is downloaded from our official download page — installers for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Who controls your data

HyperPay is published by CipherBC Hyperpay Pte. Ltd., registered in Singapore, which acts as the data controller for this website and for accounts created inside the wallet. Questions about this policy, and requests to access or delete personal data, are handled through the in-app support channel in the HyperPay wallet.

What this website stores on your device

hyperpay.dev is a static site. It sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party trackers. The only value written to your browser is a single localStorage entry named cookie_consent, which records whether you accepted or declined optional cookies so the notice is not shown again. Declining leaves the site fully functional, including every download on the download page.

  • cookie_consent — your accept or decline choice, stored on your device until you clear browser data.
  • Server request logs — IP address, user agent and requested URL, retained by the hosting provider for security and abuse investigation.
  • No advertising or profiling cookies — the site loads no ad network, social pixel or cross-site identifier.

What the wallet handles

In self-custody mode the wallet generates keys on your device under the BIP32, BIP39, BIP44 and BIP45 standards, and the recovery phrase never leaves it. CipherBC Hyperpay cannot read that phrase, cannot restore it for you, and cannot move funds held under it. In custodial mode, balances are managed through HyperBC's institutional custody infrastructure, and account registration requires an email address; identity verification applies to card and lending features where regulation requires it.

Blockchain transactions are public by design. Once a transfer is broadcast, its amount, addresses and timestamp are recorded on a public ledger that no wallet operator can edit or delete, as set out in the HyperPay guide to wallet traceability.

Retention, sharing and your rights

  • Retention — account data is kept while the account is open and for the period Singapore financial record-keeping rules require afterwards.
  • Sharing — data is shared only with processors needed to run the service, such as custody and card issuing partners, and with authorities where a lawful order requires it. It is never sold.
  • Your rights — under the GDPR and Singapore's PDPA you may request access, correction, export or deletion of personal data, and withdraw consent for optional cookies at any time by clearing site data in your browser.
  • Children — the wallet is not offered to anyone under 18.
