Set Up HyperCard After Install
Apply for HyperCard directly inside the app once your wallet is set up.
What you are installing
Every installer on this page is published by CipherBC Hyperpay Pte. Ltd., the company that has operated HyperPay since 2017, and carries desktop build 5.6.210401. Official app-store listings carry the same publisher name.
What you get after install
The desktop application is the full product. From first launch you can create a custodial account, a self-custody wallet, or both in one account, with self-custody keys generated and stored locally under BIP32/BIP39/BIP44/BIP45 standards.
From there the rest of the product is available in-app: applying for HyperCard, converting balances for spending, staking supported assets on flexible or fixed terms, taking a collateralized loan, and pairing a HyperMate or Sealer2100 hardware wallet if you want keys kept off a connected device.

Choosing your custody mode at setup
Setup asks a question worth thinking about for a moment. Custodial mode is the familiar model — HyperPay manages keys, and a lost device does not mean lost funds. Self-custody mode means the keys are yours alone, which removes provider dependence and makes your recovery phrase the single thing standing between you and permanent loss.
You do not have to decide permanently. Most users end up running both: a custodial balance for spending and a self-custody balance for savings. The full trade-off is set out on the self-custody dual wallet page, and you can change the mix at any time without moving to another application.
